History

Named after the mother of Ucal-Henri Dandurand; Rose Philips. The portion of land now occupied by the current metro station was once owned by Canadian Pacific Railway.

The street where the station is located was named Bvld. Rosemont in 1905.

Location

Rosemont Metro serves mostly the Rosemont-Petite-Patrie region of Montreal. Routes leaving from the metro connect the Central part of Montreal to both East (197) and the Western Part (161). Buses using the metro also connect the North and South parts of Montreal (13,30,31).

The station is located is the bourough of Rosemont-Petite-Patrie, on the corner of Rosemont/Saint-Denis.
