Préfontaine is a station on the green line of the Montreal Metro.

History

The station is named after the street and parc that surrounds the station. Raymond Prefontaine (1850-1905) was the mayor of the former city of Hochelaga and later on the mayor of Montreal from 1898 to 1902.

Location

Préfontaine station is located in the borough of Mercier-Hochelage-Maisonneuve on the corner of Hochelaga and Moreau streets.
