History
Jolicoeur station takes it's name from the street located nearby. Jolicoeur street was named after Father Jean-Moïse Jolicoeur, founder of Notre-Dame-du-Perpétuel-Secours parish in 1906. The street was named in his honor in 1914.

Jolicoeur station is located in the area of Côte-Saint-Paul, which is in the the Sud-Ouest area of Montréal.
