The 121,000 sq. ft. facility was opened on March 31, 2002 replacing and merged the operations of Danforth and Old Eglinton garages. It has 2 wash racks, 2 fuelling stations, 14 40-foot repair hoists, 4 inspection pit stations and a all UWE outdoor storage area for buses.  
Eglinton Division opened its doors on March 31st, 2002. The garage was built to replace the old Eglinton and Danforth garages. The old Eglinton garage was converted into a permanent bus terminal for the [[Eglinton (Toronto Subway & RT)|Eglinton Subway Station]].

Eglinton Division is located in Golden Mile a neighborhood of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.


This division is known as a host to Doors Open Toronto in 2009.  
The garage has 2 wash and fueling bays, 14 repair bays for 40ft buses and 4 inspection pits. The garage also has a UWE heating system for buses stored outdoors and has an approximate capacity of 270 buses.

Eglinton currently holds the entire fleet of 301 diesel Orion VII 40 foot (12 metre) low-floor vehicles. It was the first TTC division and is now to be a 100% fully accessible garage.  
Eglinton is the home to a portion of the fleet of diesel low floor [[Orion International|Orion Bus Industries]] Orion 07.501s and is the first Toronto Transit Commission facility to be 100% low-floor.

Location

Toronto Transit Commission Eglinton Division operates in the following districts of Toronto:

Eglinton Division is located at 38 Comstock Road.

History

Eglinton Division opened its doors on March 31st, 2002. The garage was built to replace the old Eglinton and Danforth garages. The old Eglinton garage was converted into a permanent bus terminal for the Eglinton Subway Station.

Facility Information

Eglinton Division is located in Golden Mile a neighborhood of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The garage has 2 wash and fueling bays, 14 repair bays for 40ft buses and 4 inspection pits. The garage also has a UWE heating system for buses stored outdoors and has an approximate capacity of 270 buses.

Bus Fleet

Eglinton is the home to a portion of the fleet of diesel low floor Orion Bus Industries Orion 07.501s and is the first Toronto Transit Commission facility to be 100% low-floor.
