History

Originally purchased by Atomic Energy of Canada #143 in Chalk River, Ontario. This bus is the oldest bus in the fleet in terms of the year, but the newest to join the FHTCQ fleet.

Bus #7296 was purchased in 2005 from a scrap yard in the Quebec City region. This bus originally ran as an employee shuttle for the Atomic Energy of Canada Power Plant in Chalkriver. The decision was made to restore this bus into the Metropolitain Provincial livery, a bus company that provided various rural connection to Montreal until the early '80s.
