The problem is that the government is more interested in what the recording and film industry has to say! So any money put into internet security will be used to turn casual downloaders into crooks, and let cyberbullies and pedophiles run free! --- Pedophiles should have to wear special prison clothes to let others know what their crime was... No, too harsh.. Or is it? Anyhow... We turned this "welcome" section into yet another off topic section.

in the USA there is the registry. Even free apps for your smartphone, that show you registered offenders in your area. Or even near you, since their phones are also registered. But here we care about privacy too much |

Well... Privacy is good, to an extent. For someone that was released for this crime, I think for everyone's safety, people should know where they are located. I actually don't think that they should have a right to live in an urban environment, they should have strict conditions to where they can or can't live. Like they could be allowed to live above the 49th parallel, where there are no people, or how about a deserted island? Maybe someday they can create a penal colony on Mars? |
