They scour the internet for any and all websites, and the more people who visit the site, the more they visit to keep their records updated. They help boost the site's ratings and make it appear closer to the top of the Search Engine searches. And that means more visitors, and that also means more bots. The only bot that I've seen that has no real purpose for those in North America is the Baiduspider bot that tries to download the entire website, several times per day, and wastes our bandwidth just so that people in China can see our bus pics.

Since 2008, these guys have been beating down on me about how I'm not even legal enough to drive.
It then escalated to cyberbullying. But it's 2010 and I'm still there so I gained a lot of respect

Unfortunately the internet is not always friendly, and it takes time and effort to gain respect, especially when some people can be immature about being here. Some think that because you can't see them on the other side of the screen, they can act any way they want.

Did you know that the Montreal police said that they want to hear about any incident of cyberbullying and will take the case very seriously.

It was on the news the other night I remember they mentioned it, since nobody else will take cyberbullying or internet crimes very seriously, so Montreal said they will make every effort to listen to every story.
